MICHELLE WHITE

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Michelle is a Certified Farmers Market Manager with over 10 years of experience and 450 market days under her belt. As a member of the Ohio Farmers Market Network's Board of Directors, she helped the organization secure a 2018 USDA Farmers Market Promotion Program grant focused on strengthening Central Ohio farmers markets. A Columbus native, White graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in English and is passionate about sharing the important stories of local food and farming.

HANNAH BALL

MARKET MANAGER

Hannah is passionate about local foods and the way it benefits not only our bodies, but our community! She's always happy to share recipes and ways to incorporate locally grown produce into your daily life. Outside of the market, you can find her practicing yoga at Ashtanga Yoga Columbus, or studying for a degree in functional medicine.

JENNIFER CHASTAIN

FOOD ACCESS COORDINATOR

Jen is a familiar face in the community and has volunteered at a variety of music & art events in Columbus over the last decade. When she’s not at a festival, she is often found walking around Clintonville and perusing the little free libraries with the kids she cares for.

SATOMI ABE

FOOD ACCESS COORDINATOR

Satomi enjoys food, travel, and hiking. She started as a volunteer at the market in 2012 and has been a regular Saturday morning fixture ever since. The market has made her addicted to sungold tomatoes and other delicious local foods.

During the week, Jen wears a bunch of different hats at a community high school. In her free time, she enjoys annoying her multilingual friends with random phrases in other languages and talking shop with our producers.

JULIE SHARP

BOOKKEEPER

Julie works as a bookkeeper for several non-profits in Columbus. In her spare time she enjoys working with horses, and is currently busy trying to teach her horse to herd cattle. When not riding, Julie likes hanging out in the garden and hiking with her two kids and their dog.
