MEET OUR CURRENT BOARD OF DIRECTORS

KATE HODGES
CHAIR
joined the board in 2019 as a producer. She brings a background in large-scale community event production and has been engaged as a voice in local foods discussions since she founded certified organic herb and berry farm Foraged & Sown in 2015. Kate resides in North Linden with her farming professional musician husband and son.

TODD MILLS
VICE CHAIR
Todd is an entrepreneur with a passion for local food and sustainability. He is the former owner of Acre restaurant, and former development director of Local Matters. He lives in Clintonville with his wife and two children. He has been a frequent shopper at the market since moving to Columbus in 2010.

ALEX RIDER
TREASURER
Alex has served on the board since 2019. He is a Senior Budget Analyst for the Ohio Department of Medicaid and oversees the budget for the State of Ohio's Federal grants. Alex is a resident of the Clintonville neighborhood and enjoys walking in Walhalla Ravine.

JENNIFER RUSSELL
SECRETARY
Jenn has served on the board since 2018. She is a Columbus Realtor with RE/MAX Metro Plus, and an Executive Assistant for Veritas Technologies LLC. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Ohio University, and holds an MBA with a focus in Organizational Management from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Jenn previously worked at the market for Sunny Meadows Flower Farm and enjoys hiking, cooking and gardening in her free time.

JACK DECKER
is a semi-retired attorney with more than 42 years’ experience in civil litigation and labor, employment and federal civil rights law, with some experience representing not-for-profit organizations. A native of Marietta, Ohio and graduate of the Capital University School of Law, he currently serves as Chair of the Victorian Village Commission and formerly served as Board President for the Neighborhood Design Center. Interests include cycling, American history, architecture, historic preservation, his dog and thought-leader Samantha, travel and food.

ELIZABETH DOUGLASS
has served on the board since 2017. She is a Child Nutrition Education Program Specialist for the Ohio Department of Education and Clinical Dietician for The Buckeye Ranch in Grove City, Ohio. Elizabeth co-chairs the Ohio Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Public Policy Committee, and serves as a Project Advisor on the Livestock Sale Committee for Franklin County 4-H. Elizabeth has been shopping at the market with her family for over 15 years.

WILL McNAIR
Is committed to food security, both local and global. Will has worked with the USDA, and USAID on food security programs in the U.S., Sub Saharan Africa, and South America. Currently Will is the Worldwide Oil and Soyfood Director at the U.S. Soybean Export Council and continues to advise in his family farming operation in Driscol Texas. Will has lived in Columbus since 2016, moving to join his wife Amber who is a professor in City and Regional planning at OSU.

MILO PETRUZIELLO
has worked in local food and sustainable agriculture in Ohio since 2011. He currently works for Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association, and has played a key role in planning their annual conference since 2012. A great lover of food, Milo gains much satisfaction from cooking with ingredients he buys from many farmers he knows at the market.

ANIQUE RUSSELL
is the founder and co-owner of Too Good Eats. Anique is passionate about community and creating opportunities for others through entrepreneurship. She is a wife and mom of two who enjoys traveling and eating at local restaurants in her free time.

KENDRA TAK
began volunteering onsite at the market with her husband in 2013 before joining the board in 2015. She currently serves as the chair of the market committee.
